Huawei Ascend D Quad has not become the first smartphone is equipped with quad-core as previously announced at MWC 2012. There have been several smartphone is equipped with quad-core before it as the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III. It was expected to released in Q2, and and most recently in July. But according to Huawei Senior Vice President Yu Chengdong, the Ascend D Quad will not be released before September. It would be released sometime in September or October.
